And just like that…. a new year is upon us! Hope everyone was able to enjoy the Christmas season and spending time with loved ones and friends.
2018 – what a year! A very sincere thank you to everyone who contributed in so many different ways to help deliver quality performances to our local community. Throughout 2018, BATS and BYTE combined, performed 12 times to approximately 1,000 people – a truly wonderful effort for a not for profit group made up entirely of volunteers! The audience feedback has been enthusiastic and positive and is something every single member should be proud of.
Annual General Meeting – Monday 4th February 2019, 8pm
All members are invited to attend the BATS AGM at the Broadford Shire Hall, 20 Murchison St, Broadford. All positions will be open for election and members are welcome to nominate. The current committee is made up of a combination of both long serving and newer members, all with different skills and knowledge. As always, new contributors to this mix are very welcome. To be a Committee member is both a privilege and an enjoyable experience. You get to be part of a collaborative team, providing input on selection of productions, planning and deciding on budgets, providing varying types of assistance to productions where you can choose your level of involvement and being a part of something special that gives back to our community (whether you perform on stage or not)
